Comedy Scouse Potatoes comes to The Actors Studio this week

AFTER a successful first outing at during Capital of Culture year, the comedy, Scouse Potatoes, is returning for a four-night run.

Written by Arden School of Theatre graduates Jennifer Bea and Terri Nesbitt, who both appear in the show, centres on the lives of three women who are recovering after celebrating New Year’s Eve together.

Issues that raised their heads the night before have not yet been resolved.

Scouse Potatoes had its debut at Hope Street’s The Casa Club, and will start its run at The Actors Studio, on Seel Street, run by actress and comedian Pauline Daniels.

It has been expanded from a 50-minute piece to almost 90 minutes.

Three is a Crowd Productions, which is staging Scouse Potatoes, is planning a production of Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads in June and Scott Murphy's new play Closing Time in November.
